Pakistan and Korea, having bilateral trade and diplomatic relations for over three decades, are very much ambitious to sign Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to enhance investment and trade volume.

However it will take years to attain the objective, as both the countries have to examine minutely the FTA proposal exchanged by them July this year. Pakistan’s Commerce Minister had visited Republic of Korea in July to discuss bilateral trade and possibilities of FTA.

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has announced that it will take part in two major trade fairs in India this year to push trade ties as a large number of exhibitors and visitors come from member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc).

The first will be the Chandigarh Fair which will be organized by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) from November 6 to 9, 2015 in Chandigarh.
