Other brands including Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) started local production in 2014 at Ashton Apparel.

Arvind Brands which bagged the exclusive rights to market Calvin Klein products in India in March last year. Seeing the category growing by 25-30 percent annually, Arvind Brand to take it up further is planning to open 25 Calvin Klein standalone innerwear outlets in three years .

Arvind Lifestyle Brands Managing Director J Suresh informed that the underwear category in India is pegged at USD 1.2 billion and they expect the segment to grow by 25-30 per cent for the next few years. Hence, the company plans to open 20-25 standalone Calvin Klein underwear outlets in three years

Himatsingka Seide, a leading firm in home textile is working out plans to double turnover from its branded portfolio which consists of 10 brands, including Calvin Klein, Esprit, Barbara Barry and Bellora to Rs 1,200 crore by next fiscal.

Himatsingka Group Executive Director Shrikant Himatsingka in a BSE filing said that they are focused on expanding the strength of their branded portfolio and see several opportunities on the horizon that will help the group grow revenue streams.
