British thread producer Coats has launched a duo of new 100 per cent cotton products, both of which have been certified by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) according to the organisation’s sustainable raw material criteria.
The two new BCI-certified releases, Tre Cerchi Vero and Tre Cerchi Vero+, align with Coats’ 2022 sustainability strategy outlined earlier this year.
G-Star Raw, denim brand continuing its efforts to shape a new future for the fabric with the development of the first-ever pair of Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Gold level certified pair of jeans. The collection is collaboration with Archroma, a global textile industry leader specializing in earth-friendly color and dyeing processes, which also helped Patagonia develop its sustainable denim collection.

The International Trade Centre (ITC) a joint agency of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and United Nations (UN) made an announcement that Zimbabwe will be launching the Cotton-to-Clothing (C2C) Export Strategy at an indaba in Bulawayo next week
The strategy is funded by the European Union (EU) under the EU-Africa partnership on cotton. The indaba will be held on September 26
