Black Yak Corp., a South Korean outdoor apparel and gear maker team up with Hyosung textile manufacturing giant of the country to develop functional outdoor clothing. The two firms Black Yak and Hyosung signs a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which the sportswear maker will use Hyosung’s odour-neutralizing yarn products in producing its t-shirts and underwear from 2017.

A delegation of Italian businessmen including President Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACMIT) to visit Pakistan from 4 to 7 December. The delegation during its stay will visit Lahore and Islamabad. This was disclosed by Ijaz A Khokhar, Central Chairman Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA).

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between business councils of Pakistan ans Sri Lanka on Thursday to accelerate bilateral trade and utilize benefits of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Pakistan being the second largest trading partner of Sri Lanka in South Asia there is a strong need for exchange of delegations to promote trade between the two countries.

It is the first time that a Pakistani garment sector body signed an agreement with the overseas stakeholders for strengthening mutual trade of garment and textile. Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PRGMEA) and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel (CCCT) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote and expand cooperation between Pakistan and Chinese textile and apparel companies.

As per the MoU, PRGMEA will provide visa assistance to Chinese companies through invitation letters.
