H&M to launch new collection Conscious Exclusive made from Bionic

H&M, a Swedish fashion retailer to launch on April 20 its latest ‘Conscious Exclusive 2017’ collection made from Bionic, a recycled polyester made from plastic shoreline waste as well as other sustainable materials including, organic cotton, organic silk, and recycled polyester tulle in 160 stores worldwide.

For womenswear, products comprise of clothes, bags and other accessories. One such item, the Pleated Long Dress, is made from recycled polyester Bionic. This long, sleeveless dress is available in a powder beige color that gives a sense of lightness for its wearers.

H&M, Swedish high street retailer has launched its first denim collection made using the recycled clothing gathered globally after the it started an initiative that rewarded eight dollar vouchers to customers who brough to H&M stores a bag full of unwanted clothing of any brand. Vardhman Textiles is among India's largest manufacturers of yarn, sewing threads & acrylic fiber. It manufactures for brands like GAP, H&M, Uniqlo, Benetton, Wills, Van Heusen, and Peter England.

H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB, the Swedish retail giant has used around 10.8 percent of certified organic cotton in 2013 which was enough to make the fashion giant the leading and largest buyer on the planet according to Textile Exchange's Organic Cotton Market Report 2013.
 
H&M has regained its title as world’s top most organic cotton purchaser before slipping into second place in 2012. In the past, H&M led the ranking in 2010 and 2011.
