In China, offers for ring‐spun 30s yarn rose US cents 5 a kg in the first week of January, while siro‐spun 40s yarn was up US cents 5 a kg on the week.
Viscose spun yarn market in China shared the sentiment of VSF market that week. Yarn makers were overselling on support of ample order intakes. After New Year Day holidays, offers for ring‐spun 30s yarn and siro‐spun 40s yarn were pegged higher, but actual trading was modest as downstream converters adopted a cautious approach.
