The Vietnam International Textile and Apparel Accessories Exhibition, also known as Vietnam Textile and Garment (VTG) exhibition, all set to open gates from November 22 at Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam. It is one of the leading textile and garment expo in Vietnam. The exhibition will feature latest solutions, high tech machinery, latest technology and equipment meant for this sector.

VTG 2017 will also be a platform for various industry-relevant seminars. The seminars will cover topics ranging from the effect of Industry 4.0 on the garment industry to how prepared Vietnam is for FTAs.

Textile sector is Uttar Pradesh state’s second-largest employment provider after agriculture, to give a boost to its textile sector the UP government is working on policy which will be offering a number of incentive to investors in the textile sector, said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

According to the draft policy, the government will facilitate private or government land to investors for setting up their units. It will also give assistance in setting up textile complexes, clusters for units of small and medium sizes, as well as textile parks.

The trade Incentives extended to Pakistan under the GSP Plus by EU played a positive role in boosting Pakistan’s exports. Pakistan’s exports to EU increased by 38% from 4.25 billion Euros in 2013 to 6.28 billion in 2016. Garments exports to European Union (EU) increased by 75%, said Federal Minister for Commerce, Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan on Thursday.

The President of Pakistan, today in his speech in the Joint Session of both the houses of the Parliament, also praised the positive role of European Union (EU) added the minister.
