UAE is the world’s fourth largest trading centre of fashion and apparel, with the presence of about 150 apparel manufacturing companies that account for about 5.5 per cent of the world’s annual textile and clothing sales. Soyang Europe as printers, designers and marketers has launched its own range of textile for wide and grand format printing responding to boom in demand for textile by adding new lines to its three core product ranges following parent company Soyang Technologies' investment in a new 66,000sqm production and storage facility in China.

The So-Tex range comprises 12 product lines, suitable for dye-sublimation, UV and latex printing, all of which are available in rolls of up to 3.2m wide.

Online website has launched has an initiative to strengthen the Leicestershire textiles industry by Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW), the European Social Fund (ESF), and Pera Training. Called the Leicestershire Textiles Hub, it aims to support local textile manufacturers, promote the sector to new entrants and highlight manufacturers to retailers and designers.

The website will also provide useful, practical support and information to help businesses, such as financial guidance and information on the latest manufacturing technologies.
