Evolon New Generation now provides a specific solution to make feather-filled pillows and quilts

Ten years ago in 2008, the original version of Evolon had already been the first fabric for anti-mite encasings worldwide to be ECARF-accredited. Evolon New Generation has also been granted the Oeko-Tex mark (standard 100, product class 1, attachment 6), which certifies it is free of harmful substances and suitable for contact with baby skin.

Evolon New Generation is made from super-microfilaments that are half the thickness and twice the density of those used in the original Evolon. This increases its filtration performance significantly.

ICRVL look at Rs 500cr turnover from Boutique Living in 5 yrs

Textile firm Indo Count Retail Ventures Ltd (ICRVL) a subsidiary of Mumbai based textile manufacturer and exporter Indo Count Industries (ICIL), are looking at Rs 500 crore turnover from the domestic market in five years time after they have established their brand Boutique Living. At present, their entire turnover comes from exports, said ICRVL Managing Director Asim Dalal.

Boutique Living products are expected to be in market by the first week of September. Boutique Living product range starts from Rs 2,000 per bedsheet set and goes up to Rs 8,000 for a premium category.

The Ghent Fair, a 70-year-old traditional and largest consumer Trade Fair opened at Ghent, Belgium, with Pakistan as the guest-of-honour country. The opening was attended by a large number of VIPs, including ministers, European Union government officials and ambassadors of different countries. Representative of the king of Belgium, president of the government of Flanders, governor and deputy mayor of Flanders were among the attendees.
