Opportunity for Italian machinery at Techtextil North America 2016

The Italian Trade Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian businesses, and ACIMIT, to host twelve Italian textile machinery makers to target the Vietnamese market at the upcoming Saigontex trade fair to be held next month.

The 12 machinery manufacturers are all ACIMIT associated members and include: A. Piovan, Beta Machinery, Carù, Fadis, Ferraro, JK Group, Mei, Pozzi Leopoldo, Pugi Group, Ratti, Rollmac, Tonello.

In the fourth quarter of 2015, Italian textile machinery manufactures saw growth in orders index in the foreign markets, but in domestic front the positive orders trend received a setback over the past six months, as per the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT). This was seen mainly due to a boost in exports to foreign markets.

The Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT) will participate in the Italian trade mission in late November to strengthen its presence in Iran as the International sanctions have blocked the flow of textile machinery exports to Iran, and it is hoped that the recent nuclear agreement may pave the way toward a competitive relaunching of the local textile industry.

The Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT) has recorded a 15% increase in orders of Italian textile machinery for the second quarter of 2015 over the same period of last year. The value of the orders index for this period amounts to 99.4 points. Italy remains under observation, but is showing sure signs of a recovery – domestic orders have risen by 7% compared to the second quarter of 2014, the association reports.

Orders have made a definitive move in foreign markets, a 21% increase over the same quarter for 2014, marking a fourth consecutive period of growth.

The Energy Made-to-Measure campaign of the European Apparel and Textile Confederation (Euratex) is now collaborating with the Blue Competence initiative of the VDMA (German textile Machinery Association) and the Sustainable Technologies project run by the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT).

Three sustainable textile initiatives have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to address energy efficiency, environmental and other sustainability issues in the European textile industry.

The agreement to set up training centre was signed about two year ago between the DKTE’S Textile & Engineering Institute in Ichalkaranji in the district of Kolhapur, Maharashtra and Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT).

Italian textile machinery records 6pc growth in orders from foreign markets for Q2

The Italian textile machinery orders have recorded a 6 percent increase for the second quarter of 2014 compared to the previous quarter. This growth in orders came entirely from the foreign markets, for which an increase of 8% was recorded for the period from April to June, according to the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT). Foreign demand appears to be experiencing revitalization. They were able to ascertain this at the recent ITMA Asia, held in June in Shanghai.
