Teijin’s new centre to start developing yarns and textile products in China

The Teijin Group will start developing yarns and textile products at its new Teijin Product Development China in Nantong, Jiangsu Province today, 18th April. The new centre will strengthen Teijin's textile R&D functions, including cooperation with local companies, having entered into agreement with the China Chemical Fibers Association to develop business for synthetic textiles produced by Chinese companies and textiles manufactured by Teijin.

Pahartali and Hosiery Mills (PTHM), a spinning unit of MM Ispahani Ltd established in 1954, is one of the pioneers of textile manufacturing in Bangladesh. Due to increased demand for high quality knitting yarn used in export-oriented industries, as part of its expansion plan set up a new blend yarn unit at Ispahani Complex of Pahartali in Chittagong.

The new unit was inaugurated the Chairman of the company Ali Behrouze Ispahani. The new blend yarn unit has successfully started its commercial production.
