Turkish company, LC Waikiki (LCW) has been in negotiation with Iran’s Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade for the past eight months and the Turkish side has so far surveyed over 70 apparel factories and manufacturing units in Iran, said Director General of Textile and Clothing Department at the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade Afsaneh Mehrabi.

The New Nigerian Development Company and Sur International Textile, a Turkish company with an investment of 15 million dollars have entered into a partnership aimed at revitalizing, the collapsed Kaduna Textile Limited (KTL).

SUR will provide 35 percent of the total funds while the balance would be shared between the Federal Government and 19 Northern states.
The Turkish business delegation had earlier inspected the site of the firm and the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria, both at the Kakuri Industrial Layout in Kaduna.

Kaya Group, Turkish company involved in textile sector, is planning to start textile business in Georgia. For this purpose the management of the Turkish company Kaya met the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili on January 12.

The two sides discussed the investment project which is designed by the Kaya Group to produce textile production in Georgia and export it to EU markets.
