A Textile Corner to be established to help the textile sector adopt and upgrade new technology with the help of experts of the National Textile University (NTU), disclosed President Muhammad Saeed of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI).

The FCCI president along with vice president Ahmed Hassan presented a cheque of Rs500,000 to NTU to carry out the research activities and bring a qualitative improvement in the industry academia linkages. The Textile Corner will be set up in in the chambers’ R&D department

Alexey Y Dedov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation while addressing a function organized by Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), which was also attended by leading industrialists, traders and exporters of the city said that the trade relations between Pakistan and Russia are growing satisfactorily at the government level. The FCCI (Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Trade Delegation last year visited Spain. As follow up the Spanish trade delegation would be visiting Faisalabad in September 2015. Suprio Bose, Managing Director ACCIO Barcelona disclosed this while addressing the members of FCCI on Saturday.
