Kenya plan to conduct an in-depth review of the current trade strategy in order to take stock of its implementation and success as well as to suggest interventions to boost exports to the United States, Chris Kiptoo, Principal Secretary in the Ministry for Trade.

The first African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) strategy for Kenya was developed in 2012. Under the trade agreement, most of sub-Saharan African countries are allowed to export some products duty free to the U.S. market. Kenya’s exports to U.S. comprise mainly textiles and apparels made in the export processing zones.

Federal Minister for Industries and Production Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi welcoming the Italian Trade Commissioner Riccardo Monti, who is on a two day visit to Pakistan said that Pakistan is a safe country for investors and investments as it has dedicated National Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zone with special Tax concession where Italian companies can set up their units and also have opportunity to establish their independent units to avail the same facilities.

Vietnam's southern economic hub Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City’s industrial zones (IZ) and export processing zones (EPZs) in 2014 attracted 752 million U.S. dollars in investment, up 23 percent year-on-year, sources from the city's Export Processing and Industrial Zone Authority (Hepza) reported.

This year HCM city has set a target to receive at least 700 million U.S. dollars in investment into its industrial zones (IZs) and export processing zones (EPZs).
