Dow Water and Process Solutions (DW&PS), market leaders in reverse osmosis (RO), ultra filtration (UF) and ion exchange resins. The company as part of its awareness campaign on water treatment solutions recently reached out to textile units located in the knitwear hub of Tirupur by organising a seminar on ‘Water and Business Quality’.

Around 170 textile dyeing stakeholders are said to have attended the event.

DW&PS is ready to collaborate with the textile segment in Tirupur by positioning its Silvadur solution to address waste water treatment.

Dow Chemical Company (DOW) will reconfigure and reduce its equity base in the MEGlobal and Greater EQUATE joint ventures, including The Kuwait Olefins Company (TKOC) and The Kuwait Styrene Company (TKSC) in line with its prior announcement to rationalize its investments in certain joint ventures.

Dow expects this transition to be completed by mid-2015. While Dow will retain a substantial stake in these partnerships, this effort will open opportunities for new investment in these successful and growing enterprises.
