In China, semi-dull FDY70D/24F prices inched down US cents 2 a kg in the last week of April while FDY40D rolled over on the week.
Nylon DTY 70D/24F prices were flat while 30D/10F prices were stable during the week.
Monofilament 30D prices were steady while 1.5D staple fiber fell US cents 7 a kg.
Nylon filament yarn prices were mostly stable amid existing losses, with bright nylon yarn dipping, despite falling cost of caprolactum and nylon chip material.
Demand from downstream makers was still slow as they made little replenishment lacking fresh orders.
Otherwise, demand for nylon yarn was decent, with circular‐knitting mills and covering mills operating at steady rate, while warp‐knitting mills and AJ covering mills running at 80%.
In non‐textile sectors, rigid demand dominated staple fiber, fishing‐net yarn, monofilament and cord fabric markets.
