Nylon filament yarn prices edged down further as nylon chips and caprolactum markets were in weakness. Demand remained modest with downstream converters maintaining stable operation. With falling yarn prices, demand may warm up following inventory digestion.
Warp‐knitting, weaving and AJ covering sectors operated at modest rate while, circular‐knitting mills and lacing mills ran at lower rate, implying modest demand for nylon yarn. Non‐textile sectors like fishing‐net yarn, monofilament, staple fiber and cord fabric makers made some procurement given lean inventory.
