In China, the holiday period delayed any decision to lower yarn prices, as most production plants were extensively shut for a few weeks. The market continued to remain depressed, especially in the blended yarn segment, and many spinners survived by cutting prices.
In Pakistan, blended yarn prices were supported by a relatively tight situation in the winter season. 24 PC (52/48) carded yarn prices remained unchanged in Faisalabad market while 30s were stable on the week.
