In Qianqing, PC (65/35) 32s yarn prices inched up US cent 1 a kg while 45s PC combed yarn prices rolled over during the week. In China, polyester-cotton prices gained marginally driven by firming cotton prices but limited by sobering PSF values.
In Pakistan, polyester-cotton and polyester-viscose yarn prices remained mostly stable with only 16s and 20s PC falling in the week. PSF prices were stuck at same level on the domestic market while cotton prices showed signs of weakening due to poor demand.
In India, both PSF and VSF prices remained unchanged, but cotton was seen firming up rapidly over the past two weeks. However, blended yarn prices were yet to reflect these movements and may show up later in the month. 30s (65/35) PV warp yarns were traded unchanged in Indore market. In Ludhiana, PC 30s (52/48) prices rolled over during the week.
Blended yarn prices were largely supported by fibre markets across Asia.
