Invista headquartered in the United States, one of the world’s largest integrated producers of chemical intermediates, polymers and fibers operating in more than 20 countries to see it’s Waynesboro plant a new owners as of next year. Invista's Waynesboro manufacturing facility has been in operation for more than 80 years, previously as DuPont.

The Waynesboro plant specializes in Lycra and is also a research and development facility that supports fiber innovations and new technologies. The Waynesboro plant employees around 400 people.
