At the recent ‘Destination Africa’ exhibition for readymade clothes, organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO), in collaboration with Egyptian textiles export councils, among others held in Cairo. The Egypt’s Textile Export Council (TEC) chairman Hassan Eshra said that Egypt’s textile exports has increased by 3 percent between January to October standing at $673 million over $651 million in the same period previous year.

Three-day 18th International Textile Asia Exhibition which was organised jointly by Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) and E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan ended successfully on Monday. The event attracted $375 million investment to Pakistan with signing of various memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with foreign companies for joint ventures with local companies.

IRANTEXT, the 22nd edition of Iran’s international exhibition of Textile Machinery, Raw Materials, Home Textiles, Embroidery Machines and Textile Products to be hosted by Tehran to begin from September 3 to 6, 2016 where more than 340 domestic and foreign companies from over 15 countries will exhibit their latest products, services and achievements in the textile industry.

Holding 15 workshops and two specialized seminars to be attended by experts and university professors and arranging the visits of several foreign trade delegations are some of the side events of the 22nd IRANTEXT.
