Silk Mark Vanya expo 2015, a six day event began today in Kochi, an initiative of Central Silk Board, under the Union Ministry of Textiles is conducted by the Silk Mark Organization of India (SMOI). The Exhibition cum sale was inaugurate by Cine artist Miya. The main aim of SMOI is to educate people about the quality of the silk products. They should be able to recognize silk which is 100 percent pure from the fake ones. To create awareness, they have arranged Silk games to identify original silk along with the expo.
