ASF stands for Acrylic Staple Fibers. Among the class of synthetic fibers, acrylic fibers have the third largest share after polyester and nylon fibers. Acrylic fibers used a polymer (polyacrylonitrile) as raw material for the manufacturing process. Acrylic fibers possess a lot of properties such as softness, lightweight, durable, strong, high crease recovery, colorfastness to both washing & sunlight.
