• Apparel: Rayon is widely employed in the apparel sector and used for making dresses, T-shirts, pants, shirts, scarves, shawls and nightwear. The rayon fiber is often blended with some of the other fiber such as cotton, silk and polyester.

• The growing demand for rayon for apparel production is because of two reasons that are low price and high moisture absorption. Other factors include soft texture that resembles cotton, durable, comfortable and elastic.

• Home Textiles: Towel, tablecloth, bedsheets, curtains and blankets.

• Industrial Textiles: Medical textiles, surgical pads, tires and automobile belts are some of the areas where rayon is used.
