Mono-Ethylene Glycol

Prices of MEG rose in the week of May 26.The rise in MEG prices is attributed to the rise in prices of paraxylene.

As on May 26, prices of MEG surged and was traded in the range of US$830-835 per ton CIF China (L/C 90 days) up from last week's price of US$810-815 per ton.

The June contract nominations were pegged at US$870 a ton by Shell and SABIC.
