Viscose spun yarn prices in the last week of April were largely stable amid slow liquidity in China. Offers for ring‐spun 30s yarn were stable while prices of siro‐spun 40s yarn and rabbit‐hair‐like yarn were seen rolling over.
In Pakistan, viscose yarn market was supported by stable VSF prices in absence of rise in demand from the yarn makers at this part of the year.
In India, with VSF prices staying at relatively high levels and the rupee rising against US$, any rise in yarn prices was resulting in high margins for spinning mills in India. Viscose yarn exports in declined to half in March although price realization was up year on year.
