Spun viscose yarn market was insipid in China as spinners mostly ended their business, while some still raised offers a bit. Selling ideas for spun rayon yarn were reportedly steady amid thin liquidity.
However, VSF prices have started rebounding after a short period of descending. This will have favourable impact on yarn prices post Lunar New Year holidays.
In Pakistan, viscose yarn prices remained stable in the weeks as operating rates were lowered and also due to upcoming holidays in China. 30s viscose yarn price was unchanged in Karachi market.
In India, viscose yarn prices rolled over but weak INR pegged pricing in US$ term down a bit. 30s viscose spun yarn prices were down US cent 1 a kg (due to weak INR) in Indore market.
