In China, siro-spun 30s yarn in Jiangsu was up US cents 4 a kg in the third week of September while rayon weaving yarn 30s in Xiaoshan was up US cents 7 on the week.
Spun viscose yarn sentiment was stable to firm this week in China. Orders for vortex-spun yarn were favorable, leading to better performance and in turn improved demand for VSF. In northern regions, the mills mainly bought need based volume, with some in Gaomi planning 3-7 days for National Day celebration.
In India, 30s viscose spun yarn prices fell US cent 1 a kg on the week in Indore market. Overall selling ideas were reportedly stable for spun rayon yarn in India but prices moderated further on the week as demand weakened during the first half of September.
In Pakistan, spun viscose yarn prices remained unchanged amid mute transactions.
