In China, 40s compact siro-spun yarn in Jiangsu were up US cents 3 a kg in the second week of October while 30s spun viscose in Xiaoshan were up US cents 2 a kg on the week.
Viscose spun yarn prices gained in China after the holiday, with some varieties offered at higher prices.
Margins for core spun yarn orders in were favorable and prices were stable to firm, with siro spun 30s largely in demand.
Upstream VSF prices and trade volumes climbed after National Day holiday and producers raised offers.
In India, 30s viscose spun yarn prices were up US cents 4 a kg due to stronger INR in Indore market.
Spun viscose yarn values in India stayed firm, as buying interest increased amid strong sentiment, and some yarn makers eyed on further price hikes.
In Pakistan, export orders have also rebounded and sellers saw covering yarn lucratively due to the decline of the currency against the US$.
