In China, liquid good offers were stable in the first week of April while solid goods offer inched up US$25 a ton on the week.
Asian markers, the SE and FE markers rolled over during the week.
Sinopec retained April contract at US$1,700 a ton for liquid goods while Fibrant (formerly DSM Nanjing) kept April nomination at US$1,730 a ton for liquid goods.
Caprolactum prices moved sideways on the week on decent downstream demand, tight supply and stable upstream benzene cost. In China, offers for liquid caprolactum were maintained at previous week’s level while that for low‐end solid goods were raised. Mainstream values for East European goods rolled over.
Sinopec and Fibrant (formerly DSM Nanjing) retained their nomination for April for liquid goods from previous week. Demand from polymerization units was stable while run rates at yarn makers were stable.
