In China, liquid spot was stable while solid goods offer fell US$35 a ton in the third week of May. Asian markers, the SE and FE markers were flat on the week.
Sinopec retained its May contract nomination for liquid goods while Fibrant announced nomination for May at 11,200 Yuan a ton.
Caprolactum markets in Asia were mired in weakness that week on soft demand while cost support eased with falling benzene values.
Demand was also to pick since the run rates at downstream yarn makers were down with inventory worth 28‐30 days.
Polymerization units had upped their run rate marginally amid low inventory level. In China, prices of liquid goods remained flat while solid goods were cheaper.
