Acrylic staple fiber prices in the third week of May were stable amid still limited trading activities in China and India, as the off season still hovered. Participants were generally in dismal mood thus market could hardly improve in the short run. On the other hand, following the soft ACN values, ASF producers enjoyed some margins. Demand was poor amid due to low fresh order intakes.
In Pakistan ASF prices were lifted as market held modest mindset, awaiting demand to improve in future, despite current lackluster liquidity. 1.2D ASF prices were lifted PakRs5 a kg (up US cents 5) on the week.
In India, offers were unchanged on the week.
