In US, export prices rolled over on the week to an assessment of US$820-830 a ton in the last week of November.
Export assessment was flat for a third straight week with supply-demand fundamentals balanced. Spot was flat as global pricing were mixed and values reaching floor.
In Europe, acrylonitrile spot prices held steady at US$898-902 a ton CIF Mediterranean.
European acrylonitrile spot pricing maintained strength on the week on price increase in Asia while arbitrage to the region was not enviable.
Asian acrylonitrile marker the CFR Far East Asia was assessed US$25 up a ton while Southeast Asia was down US$25 a ton in the last week of November.
In China, mainstream offers for offshore cargoes were above US$1,100/ton, with discussions in the range of US$1,080-1,100 a ton.
Acrylonitrile markets moved in opposite direction in Asia that week. Prices were mix amid plant restart and deepsea cargo arrivals.
Prices rose in FE Asia on tight availability while they fell in SE Asia on poor downstream demand.
