Xefco secures funding to launch water-free dyeing technology

Australian textile technology startup Xefco has successfully secured AU$10.5 million (US$6.9m) in funding to advance the commercialization of its groundbreaking water-free textile dyeing and finishing solution. The investment injection will propel the company’s efforts to expand its team and ramp up production of ‘Ausora,’ its patented innovation designed to revolutionize the textile industry by significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, and pollution associated with traditional dyeing methods.

With the newly acquired funding, Xefco is poised to double its workforce, enhancing its capabilities to scale up the production of Ausora and meet the growing demand for sustainable textile solutions.

This strategic move aligns with the company’s mission to address pressing environmental concerns within the textile industry, offering a transformative alternative that promises to mitigate the sector’s environmental footprint while maintaining high-quality standards in textile production.
