Ventile, a sustainable textile company recognized for its performance textiles worn by explorers such as Ranulph Finnes and Sir Edmund Hillary, has recorded a 600% rise in sales in its Eco fabrics range from Q1 2020 to Q2 2021.
The “unprecedented” demand for its eco lines now accounts for more than half of overall sales for the textile brand, helping Ventile reach its greatest ever quarterly sales, demonstrating that worldwide markets and consumers are increasingly interested in sustainably-grown fabric.
The Ventile Eco collection presently includes 14 textiles produced from organic cotton, recycled cotton, or fabric mixes containing hemp, linen, or lyocell. All of them were created with the goal of achieving the finest possible combination of performance, comfort, and sustainability.
According to the textile brand, each fabric construction is created with materials and techniques that have a “minimal impact on the environment.”
Ventile marketing manager, Daniel Odermatt said that their results indicate the fashion sector’s drive for sustainability and innovation is stronger than ever. The shift is visible all around the world, and it signals a watershed moment for the textile industry, which they are very delighted to be a part of.
Odermatt added that as people become more conscious of the environmental consequences of ‘fast fashion’ cotton manufacturing, interest in and demand for their fabric has grown even more, and they expect this trend to continue in the future years.
With innovative, cutting-edge, eco-friendly technology, Ventile continues to push the boundaries in outdoor, leisure, and fashion clothes and equipment. It introduced two new environmental textiles in June as part of its expanding green collection. The Ventile Eco 420 and Ventile Eco 430 are machine washable 100% recycled cotton textiles that push the boundaries of what can be done with coarse recycled yarns.
Some of the most famous companies in the business, such as Loewe, Jil Sander, Wildling, Hilltrek, Asphalte, BonneGueule, and Morehouse, utilize Ventile fabric.
