They have come up with the Veja X Reformation Venturi Sneakers, a prime example of this collaboration, showing that fashion can be trendy and considerate of the environment.

The Venturi Sneakers are available in two different colors, each made with distinct environmentally-friendly materials. Both the Juta or Walnut color have a strong focus on sustainability in the materials and production process.

The Walnut color features an upper part made of Alveomesh, a special fabric created from entirely recycled polyester. Alveomesh is great for breathability and flexibility, and it also helps the environment by reusing discarded plastics.

The Juta color has an upper portion made of J-Mesh, a fabric made from 33% jute and 67% recycled cotton. This fabric is great because it's antistatic, regulates temperature, and allows the use of natural and recycled materials.

Both colors use suede that is sourced responsibly from farms in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. What makes this suede special is the way it is made without harmful chemicals. It is certified Gold by the Leather Working Group, proving that luxurious materials can be made sustainably.

Inside the Venturi Sneakers, the lining is made from recycled polyester. This is a smart way to use materials again, reducing the need for new resources while keeping comfort and quality. The laces also follow this approach, being made from recycled polyester, and they even come with an extra set made from 100% organic cotton.

The sole of these sneakers is quite impressive as well. The outsole is made from 31% Amazonian rubber, which might support sustainable rubber production practices. In the midsole, there's 38% sugar cane, using the renewable potential of this crop.

The cushioning inside, known as L-Foam, is made from 30% natural latex. This not only makes it very comfortable but also helps protect against vibrations. Natural latex is a better option than synthetic foams because it is biodegradable, emphasizing the dedication to being environmentally friendly.
