They are shifting to alternatives like recycled materials made from PET bottles. For winter collection 2021, the outdoor outfitter will use recycled materials for its windproof softshells and from next winters they are aiming to switch for biobased, renewable raw resources. 

Recently there is huge demand growing for sustainable materials in the textile industry. This brand’s goal is quite been successful with the production of 30 windproof models which are made from recycled softshell fabrics and many products with a recycled content of more than 75 percent. By recycling PET bottles, petroleum extraction and GHG emissions will reduce.
