Vardhman Textiles get green signal to set up two major units in HP

Auro Textiles and Mahavir Spinning Mills, both subsidiaries of Vardhman Textiles, who had proposed for setting up two major units in Himachal Pradesh has received approval. The green signal was given by the single window clearance and monitoring authority at its meeting which was presided over by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. Auro Textiles has proposed to invest Rs.22,858 lakh with employment potential of 392 people, while Mahavir Spining Mills proposed to invest Rs.33,028 lakh with employment potential of 860 people. Along with Vardhman, North India Distillers and Bottlers, Madhav Agro Products Private Ltd and Aromatrix Flora Private Ltd and those companies whose new units were also approved The single window clearance and monitoring authority has in total given approval for industrial proposals worth Rs.56,139.40 lakh. Vardhman group has business interest in area of Yarns, Fabrics, Sewing Threads, Fibre and Alloy Steel. It is one of the largest spinning group of the country with a spindlage of over 5,50,000. The company exports its products to more than 25 countries and has a strong presence in markets like the EEC, USA, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Brazil and Mauritius, Middle East.
