As it moves towards a greener future, Valentino has unveiled a new worldwide initiative, realizing that sustainability is the cornerstone of a brighter future for the earth.
Starting last week, at 10 p.m. local time, all of the lights in Valentino stores worldwide will be turned off. According to the firm, it will contribute to a daily reduction in energy use of over 800 kWh, or the equivalent of over 13,000 conventional light bulbs used hourly.
Along with the illumination of the store windows, sales areas, and lightboxes-backlit structures, store logos will be a part of the program. In an effort to protect staff employees, the boutique warehouse lights will also continue to be out while the emergency lights are on.

The act of turning off the lights sends a symbolic statement that is in line with Valentino's company culture and fundamental values and, as a result, lowers running operating costs. It also sends a practical message about improving consumption efficiency.
Similar projects may be announced by brands all over the world as the cost of living crisis worsens and energy costs rise, making a difference for the world despite hardship.
