Twinset, TrusTrace to enhance supply chain transparency

Italian luxury fashion brand Twinset has teamed up with the TrusTrace platform to improve supplier transparency, support eco-design efforts, and measure the environmental impact of its products.

The partnership follows a three-year roadmap, gradually scaling up to trace all product categories and suppliers. Twinset’s main goals include identifying the country of origin for materials, mitigating supply chain risks like forced labor, and enabling eco-design by assessing each product’s environmental footprint.

To further its environmental initiatives, TrusTrace has collaborated with Peftrust, a leading provider of life cycle assessment (LCA) tools, offering Twinset robust support in evaluating the sustainability of its products.

This initiative is also helping Twinset align with upcoming regulations, including the Digital Product Passports (DDPs) requirement for textiles in Europe by 2030 and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which mandates companies to disclose their environmental and social impacts.

“Through our partnership with TrusTrace, Twinset has strengthened its dedication to detailed supply chain tracing,” said TrusTrace CEO and co-founder Shameek Ghosh. “This enables the brand to gain deeper insights into where and how its clothing is made and monitor each product’s environmental impact using a single platform.”
