TrusTrace unveils solution to combat forced labor in supply chain

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2024-06-27 12:26:37 – Sweden

TrusTrace has introduced an upgraded forced labor prevention solution aimed at enabling proactive compliance for fashion and textile supply chains. The new solution is designed to help global brands manage and achieve their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals through advanced technologies.

Specializing in supply chain traceability and compliance, TrusTrace's enhanced solution uses AI-powered chain of custody creation, primary data collection, risk screening, and compliance. This approach increases accuracy and reduces the time and cost associated with compliance efforts.

CEO Shameek Ghosh emphasized that the upgraded solution “is not just a tool, but a commitment to a world where transparency and ethical practices in supply chains are non-negotiable.”

To date, TrusTrace has traced more than two million purchase orders and has mapped over 55,000 suppliers and facilities globally. The data collected is proactively screened for risk against the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) entity list, and the solution can integrate with any relevant risk-screening database.
