TrusTrace has launched its Deforestation Compliance Solution to assist companies in meeting the EU's Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which will be enforced starting December 30, 2025. This solution is tailored to help businesses prove deforestation-free shipments by ensuring full traceability in their supply chains. With materials like rubber, wood, and leather falling within the EUDR’s scope, companies must now trace their products back to the plot of land to verify compliance.
TrusTrace CEO Shameek Ghosh explained, “The EUDR introduces significant challenges as companies must integrate granular traceability processes into existing systems. Our solution is designed to streamline this process by harmonizing data collection and enabling real-time geospatial deforestation analysis through advanced automations.”
The platform was co-developed with major enterprise brands and includes key partnerships, such as with OpenAtlas for satellite imagery. TrusTrace recommends that companies adopt FSC Certification to further ensure EUDR compliance.
