TexValley to integrate 225 wholesalers in its fold

TexValley is one-stop platform for all textile goods market and new way to industrial and customer developing approach developed by Erode Textile Mall Ltd., under the Comprehensive Power loom Cluster Development Scheme of the Union Ministry of Textiles. On the June 9, it will integrate 225 wholesalers in its fold.

The day will be marked by a ceremony to hand over keys to the leading wholesalers in the presence of T.L. Balakumar, Deputy Director and Officer In-Charge, Regional Textile Commissioner’s Office, Coimbatore.

Wholesalers who have booked showrooms in the main mall include Pothys, Nandu Brand Lungies, BKS Textiles, Chentex, Cotton Blossom, ADT Saral, Volume Zero, Pommy Garments, Twin Birds, Tantex, and Kibs Lungies.

The rest of the over 1,500 shops in the main mall will be handed over to wholesalers in phases over the next 15 months, P. Periyasamy, Chairman of Texvalley said.

TexValley market promotion linking buyers across the country will ensure higher cost realisation and profit for manufacturers in the region. There will be 12 product zones with over 100 manufacturers and wholesalers in each.

Index system in place for easy identification of sellers will save cost and time for buyers, he said.

Under TexValley Promotion Initiative, executives have reached out to thousands of buyers by posting information about manufacturers and traders on online platform.

TexValley Vice-Chairman C. Devarajan and CEO P. Vijaya Kumar recently called on Rashmi Verma, Secretary – Textiles, Ministry of Textiles, and other senior officials in the Ministry at New Delhi and invited them. The Ministry has deputed Mr. Balakumar for the event.

The team has also invited Harmandar Singh, Principal Secretary, Department of Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Latha, Director of Handlooms and Textiles, for the event.

Texvalley ensures a permanent place for Erode in the Textile map of Erode which will go a long way to create a southern head quarters for Indian Textile at Erode.
