TextileGenesis has introduced version 2.0 of its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform tailored for traceability in the fashion industry. This update brings a range of new services and features. The latest version presents a traceability engine built on over 300 practical supply transformation stages. Additionally, it offers real-time integration with over 90% of the major material certification standards.

Among the enhancements is a risk and compliance management module, which autonomously monitors and identifies global supply chain risks from public databases across tiers 1 to 4. The platform now includes material-origin verification for tier 4 and 5 suppliers across all material value chains. It also enables standardized and automated data exchange between fashion brands and textile suppliers via API and SFTP protocol.

Amit Gautam, CEO of TextileGenesis, highlights the collaborative effort with key players in the sustainable fashion ecosystem, resulting in pertinent updates to the platform. This ensures a seamless and unified experience for users across the supply chain.

TextileGenesis has also announced a new eTrackit partnership with Textile Exchange and a memorandum of understanding with the International Cotton Association to facilitate digital collaboration on ethical trading and sustainability.
