TEX apparel ensure sustainability by promoting sustainable materials

TEX, the exclusive textile carrefour brand, launches sustainable fashion in Romania. The TEX Responsible includes a range of apparel and home textiles made with respect for the environment. TEX has also pledged that all the materials used will come from controlled sources and will be completely sustainably obtained by 2030.

The prominent textile used in the collection stands out to be organic cotton. The company also encourages the utilisation of recycled materials and uses less water in the production process. The company has is responsibly implicated in every production phase of today and tomorrow’s fashion. The company has taken on a huge undertaking to ensure that 100% of the materials used for TEX products will come from controlled sources by 2030.

TEX Responsible came to existence as a solution to the challenges the fashion industry faced. The main aim of the brand has always been to reduce environmental impacts. The brand’s range offer apparel for home textiles and comfortable, warm clothes for kids and adults, perfect for winter. TEX has ventured into three main categories to make the change that includes TEX bio, Tex Recycle and Tex less water.

Tex Bio is defined by an extended home textiles and baby and toddlers’ clothes, made of cotton derived from ecological agriculture and 100 OEKO-TEK certified. The certification stated that no skin-harmful substance was used during the production process. Tex Recycle offers a range of jackets and vests filled with materials recycled from plastic for kids and adults. The brand guarantees the quality of recycled materials products. The TEX less water aims to produce jeans with less water, through the Waterless method, but also less CO2 and electricity, through Dope Dyed technique.
