Tencel, the world’s best fibre producing master for apparel, becomes the title sponsorer for INTIMASIA 3.0

It all happened between 2000 and 2008, when the premium international brands started to invade into the Indian market. Although, there were a few Indian brands that started exhibiting their new and stylish designs hoping to capture the attention of the Indian women. Slowly, innerwear invaded the retail segment through Exclusive Branded Outlets, LFS and departmental stores.

This year’s INTIMASIA 3.0 will surely be exciting and interesting as compared to its two previous versions, as in this year, Lenzing’s own textile brand Tencel TM will be the prime sponsorer.

Tencel TM is used in highly specialised applications, and is known for its skin softness, touch smoothness and sensitivity, and enlightening senses. Moreover, it has an amazing efficiency for thermal regulation and moisture absorption.

Lenzing’s Tencel TM intimate fibre is a must have ingredient for a high-quality lingerie and authentic underwear. The show is stated to start on January 21st till January 22nd, 2019 at the fashion capital of India, i.e. Delhi in Pragati Maidan. The show will highlight every sections of intimate apparel like Lingerie, Men’s Innerwear, Kids Innerwear, Sleepwear, Loungewear, Swimwear, Shapewear, Activewear, Socks & Stockings, Thermals, Leggings, Handkerchiefs and other hosiery products. The two-day affair will provide a platform to the retailer and distributors to connect and head into the intimate apparel business right away. Retailers from 84 neighbouring cities are expected to make their presence felt.

Speaking on the event Mr. Yusuf Dohadwala, Chief Organiser & CEO for Intimate Apparel Association of India avers, “In the last decade Delhi has turned out to be the fashion hub for fashion brands and intimate wear being no exception. With INTIMASIA 3.0 we aim to accelerate further the intimate apparel business in Northern region brands and retailers an excellent network platform.”
