Renewcell, a pioneer in Swedish textile-to-textile recycling, and Eastman, a manufacturer of cellulosic acetate fibers, have collaborated to create Naia™ Renew ES yarns using Circulose®, Renewcell’s 100 percent recycled textile raw material.
The agreement is Renewcell’s first with a US fiber manufacturer, and is a significant step toward creating the first acetate-based products that will use Circulose feedstock. It speaks highly of the Renewcell team’s ability to collaborate with partners to modify and improve our product for new fiber applications Eastman is considering Circulose as a feedstock in the creation of a premium yarn like Naia Renew.
