The football star, Neymar has signed a three-year contract with the fashion label Superdry to promote the brand’s organic underwear and sleepwear collection.
Superdry stated that this partnership would only help the brand promote its sustainable vision for the future. Superdry is responsible for supporting 400 farmers in India, in an attempt to transition to organic farming as a part of the brand’s Grow Future Thinking initiative.
Superdry pledges to become a 100% organic cotton brand by 2030. Julian Dunkerton, the CEO and founder of Superdry, stated that Neymar’s passion for creating positive change through the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr aligns with their goals to produce the most sustainable product, whilst protecting the planet and supporting their people in all that they do.
Superdry is also going to commit to supporting the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr (INJR) in Praia Grande, where Neymar Jr grew up. The collaboration between the two aims to expand opportunities for children, adolescents and their families who live in a situation of social vulnerability, through education, culture, sport and health.
