Sunbrella
Sunbrella has announced an expansion of its Sunbrella Plus marine shade collection, now offering 17 color options. Known for its superior UV protection, weather resistance, and durability, Sunbrella Plus delivers enhanced water repellency through a high-performance undercoating, making it a versatile choice for marine shade applications such as bimini tops, dodgers, and protective covers.
“When you’re on the water, performance may reign supreme, but design takes the boating experience to a new level,” said Kate Carter, Vice President and General Manager of Shade and Marine at Sunbrella. “By expanding the Sunbrella Plus color range, we’re equipping fabricators with more design options for marine projects while maintaining exceptional performance on the water.”
The collection combines the classic look of traditional Sunbrella canvas with an added undercoating for increased water repellency, ideal for withstanding sprays and adverse weather. Despite its enhanced water resistance, the fabric retains breathability and long-lasting performance.
Sunbrella Plus offers unmatched UV protection, recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation as part of a complete sun protection regimen. Furthermore, it meets all state PFAS regulations with its non-PFAS formula, ensuring compliance and sustainability.
