As part of Earth Day 2021, English fashion designer Stella McCartney unveiled a capsule collection to help Greenpeace’s campaign fight to combat Amazon deforestation, which is fueled by industrial agriculture and meat production.

The Stella x Greenpeace capsule reflects a mutual commitment to save the planet and wildlife, and it is part of the brand's summer 2021 collection. It marks the two organizations’ respective 20th and 50th anniversaries.

The capsule was released on April 23 and includes two T-shirts and two sweatshirts made from soft organic cotton in pale blue and white marble colorways, with graphics influenced by retro eco-activist prints. The prices vary between 250 and 550 pounds / 265 and 595 euros.

Commenting on the capsule, Stella McCartney, said Stella McCartney has always been a vegetarian brand, and she couldn't be more proud to partner with Greenpeace to commemorate their anniversaries and raise awareness about this urgent issue.

She adds that she wishes things don’t return to normal in 2021; instead, she hopes they will return to a more reflective way of life, particularly when it comes to their decisions. The destruction of precious trees, such as the Amazon, can not be done in order to manufacture processed beef that is exported all over the world. Simply minimizing meat consumption will help protect the Amazon from deforestation and save this important habitat as well as our environment for future generations.

The Stella McCartney Cares Foundation will also donate to Greenpeace to support its effort to combat deforestation in the Amazon, in addition to the capsule launch.
